    WHAT MATERIALS DO WE USE AND HOW TO CARE FOR THEM?

    At TallGuys, we design and produce clothing that fits taller figures, lasts for years, and isn't made at the expense of the planet. We sew everything

    ORGANIC COTTON

    Organic cotton is softer, more durable, and gentler on the skin than regular cotton. It contains no chemicals and is therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers. Our products carry GOTS and OEKO-TEX certifications, which guarantee quality and support sustainable agriculture.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT?

    • Wash at a maximum of 30 °C and inside out
    • Do not use bleach
    • Iron at a maximum of 120 °C
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Do not dry clean

    💡 Tip: We generally do not recommend tumble drying. But if you want to use it, wash the item twice on a normal cycle first, let it air dry, and only then try a dryer cycle. The material will stabilize better and last longer.

    LINEN

    Linen is a natural, ecological, and breathable material with a characteristic texture. It has great thermoregulatory properties – it cools in summer, warms in winter. It is strong, antibacterial, and becomes softer to the touch with every wear. Our linen is OEKO-TEX certified.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT?

    • Wash at a maximum of 40 °C and inside out
    • Do not use bleach
    • Iron at a maximum of 120 °C
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Can be dry cleaned

    💡 Tip: Linen softens with every wash and becomes more pleasant on the skin. However, we strictly advise against using a tumble dryer – the material could shrink. If you use it anyway, be aware of this risk.

    VIEW PRODUCTS

    MICROMODAL

    Micromodal is a luxurious, soft material made from beech wood. From this material we sew our underwear, because it is very comfortable, breathable, pleasantly cooling, and also OEKO-TEX certified.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT?

    • Wash at a maximum of 40 °C and inside out
    • Do not use bleach
    • Iron at a maximum of 150 °C
    • Tumble drying is possible
    • Can be gently dry cleaned

    💡 Tip: You can also dry micromodal in a tumble dryer, but it's better to choose a lower temperature and a gentle cycle. The material will thus retain its softness and elasticity longer. However, the best option is to let the laundry air dry – it will stay like new the longest.

    RECYCLED MICRO POLYAMIDE

    It is made from recycled plastics that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans. It is highly durable and soft, making it pleasant to the touch and suitable for everyday wear. By choosing recycled materials, we reduce the ecological impact and save natural resources.

    • Wash at a maximum of 40 °C and inside out
    • Do not use bleach
    • Iron at a maximum of 120 °C
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Can be dry cleaned

    💡 Tip: Recycled polyamide is elastic and durable, which makes it ideal for sportswear as well. It protects against UV radiation and dries quickly – the clothing is thus comfortable for everyday wear and active movement.

    MERINO WOOL

    It is known for its thermoregulation – it warms you up in the winter and cools you down in the summer. Thanks to its antibacterial properties, it does not absorb unpleasant odors. Unlike regular wool, it doesn't itch and the TEC (Total Easy Care) treatment, along with OEKO-TEX certification, make it an ideal choice even for sensitive skin.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT?

    • Wash at 40 °C using a wool program, otherwise at 30 °C.
    • Do not use bleach
    • Iron at a maximum of 150 °C
    • Can be tumble dried on the "wool" program.

    💡 Tip: Thanks to its natural antibacterial properties, merino wool doesn't get as dirty or smelly. Often, simply airing the garment out is enough – it stays fresh longer without frequent washing.

    GENUINE LEATHER

    Vegetable-tanned leather is a natural material with a unique structure and character. Over time, it develops a rich patina, softens, and becomes more beautiful. Thanks to its natural "self-healing" ability, minor scratches fade away over time, and the leather thus looks increasingly alive.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT?

    • Protect the leather from rain and moisture
    • Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat sources
    • For a longer lifespan, you can apply natural oil or wax

    💡 Tip: Genuine leather ages gracefully – it acquires a natural patina that makes it even more beautiful. Minor scratches gradually disappear thanks to its self-healing properties, and the leather feels more alive.

    TENCEL

    Tencel™ Lyocell is made from a renewable natural resource and is popular for its softness, breathability, and moisture-wicking ability. The material drapes beautifully, is very pleasant to the touch, and thanks to the sandwash finish, it has a soft and naturally matte look. Tencel clothing feels light, neat, and you can wear it in the city, on vacation, to work, and for evening wear.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT?

    • Wash at a maximum of 30 °C and inside out
    • Do not use bleach
    • Iron at a maximum of 110 °C
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Dry flat
    • We recommend air drying and storing

    💡 Tip: Tencel best retains its softness when you let it air dry after washing and avoid high temperatures. Thanks to this, it will stay smooth, flowing, and pleasant to the touch for a longer time.

    Cotton is a natural material that feels pleasant on the skin, is breathable, and is suitable for everyday wear. At TallGuys, we use it mainly where we want to combine comfort, durability, and a clean look. With proper care, cotton pieces keep their shape and pleasant feel for a long time.
