    WHAT MATERIALS DO WE USE AND HOW TO CARE FOR THEM?

    At TallGuys, we design and make clothing that fits taller bodies, lasts for years and is not made at the planet's expense. We make our clothing in Czechia from high-quality certified materials, fairly and with attention to detail. The few products we couldn't make here are produced in Portugal.

    ORGANIC COTTON

    Organic cotton is softer, more durable and gentler on the skin than conventional cotton. It is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers. Our products carry GOTS and OEKO-TEXcertification, a guarantee of quality and support for sustainable farming.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT

    • Wash inside out at max. 30 °C
    • Do not bleach
    • Iron at max. 120 °C
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Do not dry clean

    💡 Tip: We generally don't recommend a tumble dryer. If you want to use one, wash the item twice on a normal programme first, let it air-dry, and only then try a dryer cycle. The fabric settles better this way and lasts longer.

    LINEN

    Linen is a natural, eco-friendly and breathable fabric with a distinctive texture. It is pre-washed, so it won't shrink. It is strong and feels softer with every wear. Our linen is certified OEKO-TEX.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT

    • Wash inside out at max. 30 °C
    • Do not bleach
    • Iron at max. 150 °C
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Can be dry cleaned

    💡 Tip: Linen gets softer and more pleasant on the skin with every wash. Let it dry naturally, then give it a light iron.

    VIEW PRODUCTS

    MICROMODAL

    Micromodal is a luxurious, fine fabric made from beech wood. We use it for our boxer briefs because it is very comfortable, breathable, pleasantly cool and also certified to OEKO-TEX.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT

    • Wash inside out at max. 40 °C
    • Do not bleach
    • Iron at max. 150 °C
    • Tumble drying allowed
    • Gentle dry cleaning allowed

    💡 Tip: You can tumble dry micromodal, but choose a lower temperature and a gentle programme. The fabric will keep its softness and stretch longer. Air-drying is still the best choice, as it keeps the item like new for the longest.

    Recycled micro polyamide VIEW PRODUCTS

    RECYCLED MICRO POLYAMIDE

    It is made from recycled plasticsthat would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans. It is highly durable and fine, so it feels pleasant and works for everyday wear. By choosing recycled materials, we reduce our environmental impact and save natural resources.

    • Do not bleach
    • Iron at max. 120 °C

    💡 Tip: Recycled polyamide is stretchy and durable, which makes it ideal for sportswear too. It protects against UV radiation and dries quickly, so it is comfortable for everyday wear and active movement.

    MERINO WOOL

    It is known for its temperature regulation : it keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. It is naturally antibacterial and also neutralises body odour. OEKO-TEX certification makes it a good choice for sensitive skin too.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT

    • Wash at 40 °C on a wool programme, otherwise at 30 °C.
    • Do not bleach
    • Iron at max. 150 °C
    • Can be tumble dried on a wool programme.

    💡 Tip: Merino wool is naturally antibacterial, neutralises body odour and is self-cleaning. Often it is enough to air it out, and it stays fresh for longer without frequent washing.

    Leather care VIEW PRODUCTS

    GENUINE LEATHER

    Vegetable-tanned leather is a natural material with a unique texture and character. Over time it develops a rich patina, softens and becomes more beautiful. Thanks to its natural "self-healing" ability, small scratches fade over time and the leather looks ever more alive.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT

    • Protect the leather from rain and moisture
    • Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources
    • For a longer life, you can apply natural oil or wax

    💡 Tip: Genuine leather matures with age and develops a natural patina that makes it even more beautiful. Thanks to its self-healing properties, small scratches gradually disappear and the leather looks more alive.

    TENCEL

    Tencel™ Lyocell is made from a renewable natural source and is popular for its softness, breathability and ability to wick moisture. The fabric drapes beautifully, feels very pleasant and, thanks to its sandwash finish, has a soft, naturally matte look. Tencel clothing looks light and neat, and you can wear it in the city, on holiday, at work or in the evening.

    HOW TO CARE FOR IT

    • Wash inside out at max. 30 °C
    • Do not bleach
    • Iron at max. 110 °C
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Dry flat
    • We recommend air-drying and storing it

    💡 Tip: Tencel keeps its softness best if you let it air-dry after washing and avoid high temperatures. That way it stays smooth, flowing and pleasant to the touch for longer.
