Principles of handling your data

We are Tallguys s.r.o.

We operate an e-shop on the website www.tallguys.cz

To provide the sale of goods and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

The processing of personal data is primarily governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).

Processing of Personal Data

1. Processing personal data when using the contact form

If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with the contact details you provide, mainly via the inquiry form. These are: Name and surname, email address.

For what purpose?

We contact you through these details for further arrangements regarding the goods.

On what legal basis?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiations regarding a contract, or implementation of measures prior to concluding a contract at your request.

How long will we process personal data?

If no further cooperation occurs, your data will be processed for a maximum of 10 years from our last communication.

2. Processing personal data in case of purchase

If you make a purchase with us, we will process the data you provide, mainly billing information: name, surname, address, etc.

For what purpose?

We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – deliver our goods. Through the contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, complaints, or your inquiries.

We will further process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or handling complaints and other matters).

On what legal basis?

Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract performance, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligation.

How long will we process personal data?

During the provision of our service and for 10 years after the last service or delivery of goods.

3. Newsletters (commercial communications)

If you are a purchasing customer and have not opted out during purchase, we will use your email address to send our news.

On what legal basis?

This is allowed under §7(3) Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, if you have not opted out during purchase.

How long will we process personal data?

10 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time via email or contact us at info@tallguys.cz

Who has access to the data?

Your data remain with us. However, some companies or individuals work for us and have access to data because they help us operate our e-shop. These are:

  • e-shop platform operator Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, ID 28935675, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, section B, insert 25395)
  • emailing service provider (Leadhub s.r.o, Klaviyo)
  • marketing agency (Petr Handlíř)
  • analytics agency Signals

Personal data is also processed outside the European Union.

What else you should know

Our company does not have a designated Data Protection Officer.

Decisions in our company are made based on automated processing or profiling.
