Is the Heavy Oversize hoodie suitable for winter?
Yes. The 320 g/m² cotton with a brushed inside holds in the warmth, so you can wear the hoodie in winter and even in frost, on its own or under a coat.
How is it different from the original elongated hoodie?
The lengths and quality are the same and the inside is brushed as before. The new fabric has a higher weight of 320 g/m², is warmer and keeps its shape brilliantly. The fit is new too: a relaxed oversized cut.
Why wash the hoodie before the first wear?
The brushed inside releases fine fibres in the first few washes. After 2-3 wash and tumble dry cycles, the hoodie is clean and soft.
Can I put the hoodie in the tumble dryer?
Yes, we actually recommend it. The dryer catches loose fibres from the brushed inside, so your hoodie stays clean.
COMPLETE THE OUTFIT
The warmest combination is the hoodie with Heavy Oversize or Wide Heavy sweatpants in the same colour. In town, wear it with jeans, leggings or wide trousers under a coat; in the mountains, as a warm layer over a long-sleeve T-shirt.

WHAT WE IMPROVED
Our customers love wearing the elongated hoodie, but they asked for a warmer version for winter. So we made it again in a fabric with a higher weight of 320 g/m². The lengths and quality stayed the same and the inside is still brushed, but the new fabric is warmer and keeps its shape brilliantly. The hoodie now also has a relaxed oversized fit.

ABOUT THE BRAND
WHO IS BEHIND TALLGUYS?
My name is Radek Pilař and I am 190 cm tall. Why am I telling you my height? I'm not complaining about it, quite the opposite. The only problem is that my whole life I've had trouble finding clothes that fit me because of it. So, after returning from an inspiring trip to America, I thought: 'Radek, why don't you make your own simple, plain, elongated t-shirt from natural cotton?'
AND THAT'S HOW TALLGUYS WAS BORN
T-shirts from Czech stores were too short or too wide. And when I happened to get the size right, they got pilled after the first wash. And because I like to pursue my goals and fulfill my dreams at the same time, I created my own clothing. The kind I would want to find in stores:
- well-fitting,
- precisely cut,
- made from quality materials,
- and with an extended length, so I wouldn't have to keep pulling it down.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
With TallGuys, I no longer worry about what to wear in the morning. I only need a few t-shirts in my wardrobe and I have clothes for business meetings, lunches with friends, and dates. I always feel like the world is at my feet. Seriously. It's thanks to the cut and the premium cotton we use to make our t-shirts. When you wear a t-shirt under a hoodie, you don't feel it at all and you just have a pleasant feeling of freedom.
MADE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
I like to support Czech entrepreneurs, which is why we sew most of our clothing in Czech workshops. Kindly to people and the environment. We spent months fine-tuning the t-shirts with Czech seamstresses to perfection, from the neckline type and length extension to the subtle logo. We have tested the clothing for a long time, and I have everything you find in the e-shop in my own wardrobe.
ORGANIC COTTON
I have paid close attention to the selection of materials. TallGuys cotton T-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants are made from organic cotton with 5% elastane, which gives them suppleness and flexibility. Thanks to this, you can rely on a pleasant feeling when wearing them, which also lasts after many washes. Only natural resources and environmentally friendly processes are used to grow organic cotton, and people work in dignified conditions on the farms. The cotton is also suitable for very sensitive skin, as it is certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), which guarantee the highest purity of organic cotton under ethical and ecological conditions.
