WHO IS BEHIND TALLGUYS?
My name is Radek Pilař and I am 190 cm tall. Why am I telling you my height? I’m not complaining about it, on the contrary. It’s just that my whole life I’ve had trouble finding clothes that fit me. So, after returning from an inspiring trip to America, I thought: “Radek, why not sew a simple extended T-shirt without print from natural cotton yourself?”
AND THAT’S HOW TALLGUYS WAS BORN
T-shirts from Czech stores were either too short or too wide. And when I accidentally got the right size, pilling appeared after the first wash. Because I like to follow my goals and fulfill my dreams, I created my own clothing. Just the way I would want to find it in stores:
- well-fitting,
- precisely tailored,
- made from quality materials,
- and with extended length, so I don’t have to keep pulling it down.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
With TallGuys, I no longer worry in the morning about what to wear. Just a few T-shirts in the wardrobe are enough, and I have clothes for a business meeting, lunch with friends, or a date. I always feel like the world is at my feet. Seriously. It’s thanks to the cut and premium cotton from which we make the T-shirts. If you wear a T-shirt under a sweatshirt, you don’t feel it at all, just enjoy the comfortable freedom.
MADE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
I like to support Czech entrepreneurs, which is why we sew exclusively in the Czech Republic, responsibly for people and the environment. We spent months working with Czech seamstresses to perfect the T-shirts, from neckline type to lengthening and discreet logo. We tested the clothing extensively, and everything you find in our e-shop is something I personally have in my wardrobe.
ORGANIC COTTON
I also paid attention to the choice of material. At least 95% of the organic cotton in TallGuys clothing consists of natural fibers. Thanks to this, you can rely on a pleasant feel when wearing it, which also lasts after many washes. Its flexibility and adaptability are provided by a 5% elastane blend. Only natural resources and eco-friendly methods are used in cotton production. People also work under fair conditions on the farms. The material is suitable even for very sensitive skin, as it is certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100 + GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), guaranteeing the highest purity of organic cotton under ethical and ecological conditions.
