Sustainability keeps growing in importance — especially in fashion. Asking yourself, “How can I keep my style and still be sustainable?” Come take a look with TallGuys at a few tips for dressing in a way that’s kinder to the planet — and still looks great.

1. Choose quality over quantity
One cornerstone of sustainable fashion is investing in well-made pieces and leaning into slow fashion — the opposite of fast fashion, where garments are mass-produced cheaply and don’t last. Pick better materials and well-sewn pieces that hold up for years, so you reduce waste and actually save money over time. You won’t need to keep replacing your wardrobe with disposable items.
2. Check the material before you buy
Materials matter. We use premium organic cotton, which has a lower environmental impact than traditional polyester and many synthetics. It carries the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, confirming the textiles are safe and responsibly produced — from yarn to final product. That makes it a win for the planet and for you: it’s gentler on skin, more durable, and keeps its natural softness thanks to a lighter-touch processing. Want to learn more? 3. Buy well-made, fair-trade pieces
Supporting fair-trade brands helps ensure decent working conditions and social responsibility in fashion. TallGuys pieces are sewn in the Czech Republic by local seamstresses. We also work with GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) supply chains, which respect ethical production and social criteria (no child labour, safe and clean workplaces, reasonable working hours, etc.).
4. Take care of your clothes
Great materials get you halfway there — we use long-staple cotton that’s better spun and doesn’t crawl out of seams, so our tees resist pilling. For even longer life, follow a few basics: wash at max 30 °C, skip the tumble dryer, and turn pieces inside out before washing.

Your choice to support any sustainable brand is a step in the right direction. You help protect the environment and improve working conditions in fashion. Your decisions have real impact — and you can be proud to set an example for a more sustainable future.
