ABOUT MERINO WOOL
Merino wool is made from fine yarn that is nevertheless very durable and pleasant to wear. It naturally neutralizes body odor and has a self-cleaning effect. Its fibers tend to regenerate, helping garments remain resistant to dirt, bacteria, and other microorganisms.
CZECH PRODUCTION
Our Fine Merino wool originates in South America, sourced from local sheep farms. The material is cleaned in specialized facilities, then processed into combed fiber and yarn, which is produced in the Czech Republic. The yarn is then delivered to a Czech knitting mill, where we keep the entire production process under direct control. We place great emphasis on high-quality production—each individual piece is inspected to ensure everything is absolutely perfect, and the garments you find in our e-shop are pieces we proudly wear ourselves.
HOW TO CARE FOR MERINO WOOL?
Thanks to its antibacterial and other properties, merino wool garments do not need to be washed as often as other items. Our merino wool meets the Total Easy Care standard, which allows machine washing and tumble drying when using a wool program. If you decide to wash your sweater, the temperature should not exceed 40 °C. Higher temperatures may damage the garment, cause felting, or lead to shrinkage. Also avoid fabric softener and do not dry the sweater on a radiator.

ABOUT THE BRAND
WHO IS BEHIND TALLGUYS?
My name is Radek Pilař and I am 190 cm tall. Why am I telling you my height? I'm not complaining about it, quite the opposite. The only problem is that my whole life I've had trouble finding clothes that fit me because of it. So, after returning from an inspiring trip to America, I thought: 'Radek, why don't you make your own simple, plain, elongated t-shirt from natural cotton?'
AND THAT'S HOW TALLGUYS WAS BORN
T-shirts from Czech stores were too short or too wide. And when I happened to get the size right, they got pilled after the first wash. And because I like to pursue my goals and fulfill my dreams at the same time, I created my own clothing. The kind I would want to find in stores:
- well-fitting,
- precisely cut,
- made from quality materials,
- and with an extended length, so I wouldn't have to keep pulling it down.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
With TallGuys, I no longer worry about what to wear in the morning. I only need a few t-shirts in my wardrobe and I have clothes for business meetings, lunches with friends, and dates. I always feel like the world is at my feet. Seriously. It's thanks to the cut and the premium cotton we use to make our t-shirts. When you wear a t-shirt under a hoodie, you don't feel it at all and you just have a pleasant feeling of freedom.
MADE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
I like to support Czech entrepreneurs, which is why we sew exclusively in the Czech Republic. Kindly to people and the environment. We spent months fine-tuning the t-shirts with Czech seamstresses to perfection, from the neckline type and length extension to the subtle logo. We have tested the clothing for a long time, and I have everything you find in the e-shop in my own wardrobe.
ORGANIC COTTON
I have paid close attention to the selection of materials. At least 95% organic cotton in TallGuys clothing is made of natural fibers. Thanks to this, you can rely on a pleasant feeling when wearing it, which also lasts after many washes. The suppleness and adaptability are provided by a 5% admixture of elastane. Only natural resources and ecologically sound processes are used in cotton production. What's more, people work in dignified working conditions on the farms. The material is also suitable for very sensitive skin, as it is certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100+ GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), which guarantees the highest purity of organic cotton under ethical and ecological conditions.
